But, when I woke up this morning to find Peter Jennings had died, I was really thrown for a loop. I remembered all the times I watched him on television. Seeing him everday, it was almost like I knew him (in a completely un-stalkerish kind of way.)<br /><br />Whatever you might have thought about his reporting style or of the stories he chose to cover, it's a shock to think he is really gone. He was the Cronkite of my generation.
